Dr. Day was born in Cali, Colombia and grew up in Miami, FL. She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Miami with Minors in Chemistry and Italian Studies. She attended medical school at St. George's University where she completed her Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) and also obtained a Master's in Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a concentration in Multi-Sector Health Management. She completed her family medicine residency at St. Luke's University Heath Network in Allentown, PA. Dr. Day is a strong proponent of patient advocacy and was elected as the resident representative for the Government & Practice Advocacy Committee for the Pennsylvania Academy of Family Physicians her final year of residency. She is board certified with the American Board of Family Medicine and is fluent in English and Spanish.
