Trip's Vintage Art & Custom Frame
Trip’s Vintage Art & Custom Frame is an eclectic collection of antique art and frames with special interest given to Original Nautical & Military Scenes, Early Florida Maps, Hand-Tinted Photos, and All Early Forms of Photography. I have a large Gallery occupying a fully restored 1907 Historic Home where I display the art & photography I have collected, restored, and reframed. I also frame personal pieces brought to me, giving the customer the unique alternative to traditional frame selection. I not only use Vintage Frames, but also construct them by using reclaimed century-old tongue & groove bead board to create one of a kind frames. This wood has been salvaged from local historic homes as they met their demise. The patina on all the frames I use is genuine and never added or altered. It’s the look you only get from layers of depression era paint sanded gently, or the patina earned when a frame hangs in a barn for 100 years. Complementing your choice of frame is a large selection of mat colors which I personally cut for a professional look and perfect match. I am very meticulous regarding color selection and delivering a quality product is of upmost importance. The glass I use is all UV Resistant with the choice of either regular, glare resistant, or museum grade as requested. All mat board and supplies are also 100% acid free to prolong the life of your art or photography. So, whether your searching for an already framed Vintage piece or your looking to have a piece framed using a truly unique approach, I’m sure I have the frame to compliment your special piece. In addition, the Gallery offers a variety of antiques, including Nautical, Tools, Bottles (Straight Sided Cokes) and local driftwood to choose from.
