Our Beginnings With the rapid growth of the "Space Coast" in the 1960s, the Florida Methodist Conference made a new church start in the North Titusville community. First Methodist Church Titusville commissioned parishioners to make a "church plant" for what would charter as St Andrew United Methodist Church in 1967. OUR MISSION FOLLOW CHRIST * OFFER HOPE * SERVE OUR COMMUNITY OUR STRATEGYNURTURE - OUTREACH - WITNESS How we live out our mission. NURTURE Nurture can take many forms. It may be provided in community worship, corporate and private prayer or study, and by congregational care ministries. Nurture can be summarized as "what we do in caring for each other in the church's fellowship." OUTREACH Outreach may be summed up in what we do for others. It is living out the commandment to love one another by reaching out to others outside the local congregation. Outreach at St Andrew takes place through our school ministries, our community outreach ministries, & all the ways we pray & support the work of Christ beyond our walls. WITNESS Witness is the proclamation of the love, salvation, & grace which is made available through Jesus Christ. Witness happens on Sunday mornings in worship & in those events where we invite the community to come & find that the Lord is good! Witness is also what we do daily as disciples (followers) of Jesus Christ.
