Venice Memorial Gardens (Part of Farley)
Venice Memorial Gardens is a cemetery with chapel in Venice, Florida. The cemetery serves families in Venice and the surrounding Sarasota area, offering burial services, cremation services, pre-need planning, veterans services including military honors, certified celebrants, and pet cremation. Cremation services and pet cremation are provided through Farley Funeral Homes. Venice Memorial Gardens was established in 1974 and includes dedicated sections reflecting the area's diverse religious and cultural communities. The cemetery contains separate sections for Catholic, Jewish, Ukrainian, and military families, as well as secular areas and space for upright granite monuments. The grounds also include a designated pet cemetery section. The facility includes an on-site chapel, a cremation garden with niches, private and family cemetery lots, and staff who provide service in Spanish. Venice Memorial Gardens does not offer reception space for gatherings following services. Families consistently note the peaceful, well-maintained grounds and describe the setting as a dignified environment. Staff have been recognized for guiding families through site selection and memorial customization with care and attentiveness.
