Proudly sponsored by Charlie’s Delights, whose donuts have long been an Alys Beach tradition, this contest is sure to be one for the record books. Whether you participate as a contestant or come to cheer on the eating, we invite you to join Alys Beach and Charlie’s Delights for a sweet and festive start to the Fourth of July celebrations. The event schedule is listed below: 9:00 am Contestant Registration (Check-in/Waiver/Release) 9:30 am Children’s contest (6 and under) – 8 donut holes- $5 entry fee 10:00 am Youth contest age (7-12) – 4 donuts- $10 entry fee 10:30 am Youth contest age (13-17) – 6 donuts- $10 entry fee 11:00 am Adult contest age (18 and over) – 8 donuts- $15 entry fee Contest Rules: Registration fees are non-refundable. Each contest is limited to the first 16 registered contestants. The contestant who finishes the allotted donuts completely first wins. The maximum time limit is 15 minutes. To be declared the winner, the contestant must swallow all of their donuts. Contestants will be given a bottle of water with their donuts. A contestant who is sick or showing signs of illness will be disqualified. Any person caught cheating will be disqualified. There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner of each contest. Children 6 and Under: 1st place: Charlie’s t-shirt and $20 gift certificate 2nd place: Charlie’s t-shirt and $15 gift certificate 3rd place: Charlie’s t-shirt and $10 gift certificate Ages 7-12: 1st place: Charlie’s t-shirt and $20 gift certificate 2nd place: Charlie’s t-shirt and $15 gift certificate 3rd place: Charlie’s t-shirt and $10 gift certificate Ages 13-17: 1st place: Charlie’s t-shirt and $30 gift certificate 2nd place: Charlie’s t-shirt and $20 gift certificate 3rd place: Charlie’s t-shirt and $10 gift certificate 18 and Up: 1st place: Charlie’s t-shirt, Charlie’s hat, bag of coffee and $20 gift certificate 2nd place: Charlie’s t-shirt, Charlie’s hat and $15 gift certificate 3rd place: Charlie’s t-shirt, Charlie’s hat and $10 gift certificate
