Oregon Fire Protection District
The Oregon Fire Protection District (OFPD) is dedicated to protecting the lives and property of residents, stakeholders, and visitors across more than 120 square miles of Central Ogle County, Illinois. Serving a population of approximately 9,600, the district covers incorporated and unincorporated areas, including the City of Oregon, Villages of Chana, Payne’s Point, and Daysville, as well as Marion, Nashua-Oregon, Pine Rock, White Rock, Rockvale, and Taylor Townships. Additionally, the district provides emergency services to three state parks—Castle Rock, Lowden, and Lowden Miller State Forest—and numerous youth and church camps. The Rock River divides the district into nearly two equal parts, connected via Illinois Route 64 in Oregon, Illinois.
